MA woman among dead in Mali attack

The American killed in the Mali hotel attack has been identified as a woman from Western Massachusetts.

41-year-old Anita Ashok Datar was one of the 27 people killed at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Mali Friday morning.

The hotel was hosting a UN Delegation at the time of the siege and at least five United States Department of Defense personnel were staying at the hotel when 150 hostages were taken by the terrorists.

A total of six Americans were rescued from the hotel by security forces after they stormed the hotel.
