Magaziner to reintroduce paid time off bill to Congress
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Congressman Seth Magaziner is spotlighting workers today as he reintroduces a previously pushed bill.
The bill is called the Protected Time Off Act.
It would guarantee paid time off for all full-time workers in the U.S.
The congressman said more than 27 million private sector workers in the country receive no paid vacation and the act would require employers to provide at least two weeks of paid vacation.
