Man, 35, charged in fatal Mansfield crash

MANSFIELD, Mass. (WLNE) — The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office said a man was charged in a fatal Mansfield crash earlier this week.

Gonsahn Kamara, 35, is charged with motor vehicle homicide, operating under the influence of liquor – 2nd offense, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, and traffic violations.

Kamara was allegedly driving under the influence when he was traveling the wrong-way on Interstate 495 in May.

Massachusetts State Police said a Nissan struck a Toyota that was driven by Kerrie Dolbashian, 31, of Smithfield.

Dolbashian was pronounced dead at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash.

Kamara’s bail was set at $5,000 with conditions that he doesn’t drive.
