Man accused of killing his ex’s new boyfriend in jealous rage, pleads not guilty

32-year-old Fredi Lopez showing no emotion as he returns returns to court Wednesday to face a judge. A grand jury indicting him on three charges, first degree murder, breaking and entering and felony assault, all relating back to a murder last summer. Prosecutors say back on July 30th, Lopez broke into his ex-girlfriend’s Alverson Avenue home, stabbing and killing Andres Arguijo-Acosta in a jealous rage. At the time, the capitol city’s 6th homicide of the year. The murder weapon? a knife from the kitchen. Lopez plead not guilty to all three charges. He was held without bail.
