Man arrested after stolen car crashes in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Police said they arrested a man after a stolen car crashed in Providence Wednesday.

Maj. David Lapatin told ABC 6 News that the man, whose name wasn’t immediately released, was arrested after the crash on Point Street.

Police said the crash is connected to an incident on Barnstable Avenue in East Providence. Details on this incident weren’t made available.
