Man arrested for alleged bomb threats at Providence temple

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A man is in custody for allegedly calling in bomb threats at Temple Beth El in Providence.

Police said 65-year-old Vincent Johnson was arrested Wednesday after reports came in about someone loudly making threats to the temple on Orchard Avenue.

He was charged with bomb threat, false reporting, and disorderly conduct.

No further information was immediately released.

Johnson is expected to appear in Providence District Court on Thursday.
