Man arrested for OUI in Rehoboth

Rehoboth Police arrest a man for allegedly operating under the influence Saturday morning.
Joseph White, 21 of Somerset, MA, was arrested after police responded to an accident he was allegedly involved in and conducted an investigation that led them to believe he was operating under the influence on Anawan Street on June 27th.
When police arrived they discovered a vehicle 20 yards off of the roadway beside a tree and the uninjured driver outside of the vehicle.
They say the vehicle was traveling northbound prior to crossing over the southbound lane, veered into the shoulder, and traveled into the woods after correcting the vehicle.
White was released on his own recognizance and is due in the Taunton District Court on June 29th for arraignment.
