Man arrested for posing as a non-profit rep

Police arrested one out of the two men who posed as volunteers of a non-profit organization at the Saint Mary’s Feast in Cranston last week.
Alan Ponte, of Pawtucket was arrested after allegedly posing as a volunteer from the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Foundation, which supports people battling breast cancer.
Police are still searching for the second suspect.
The two men and asked people to donate money for the cause by writing checks to them.
The second suspect was wearing a gray baseball hat, a long-sleeve pink shirt with jeans at the time.
