Man arrested on OUI after he hits the same car twice

FALL RIVER, MASS (WLNE) – A Somerset man was taken into custody for OUI after hitting the same car twice in the same night on Friday. 

Fall River Police say at approximately 6:30 pm, officers responded to Milliken Blvd in response to a motor vehicle collision. 

Police learned that 53-year-old David Dias had struck a 27-year-old woman’s car twice that night. 

One collision at President Ave and North Main, where according to police, is where the woman exchanged information with Dias and insisting he gets off the road for being too drunk. 

The second collision was on Milliken Boulevard, where Dias rear-ended the woman at a red light which caused her to hit her face on the steering wheel, police say. 

Dias was taken into custody on OUI (2nd offense) and Negligent Operation.
