Man busted for possession of more than 200 grams of heroin

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — A 31-year-old man was arrested on Friday after authorities executed a court ordered search warrant and seized over 200 grams of heroin.

Charles Yanez, of Waltham Street, was arrested as a result of an ongoing investigation into narcotics distribution within the city.

Approximately 265 grams of heroin, various packaging and distribution materials, and $6,000 in U.S. currency was seized.

Yanez was charged with the following offenses:

  • Possession of Heroin with Intent to Deliver.
  • Manufacturing Possessing Delivering Heroin 1oz-1kg.
  • Maintaining a Common Nuisance.
  • Conspiracy.
  • Third of Subsequent Offense.
