PLYMOUTH, Mass. (WLNE) — A man charged in stabbing incidents in Braintree and Plymouth was held without bail Monday following a dangerousness hearing.

The Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office said the hearing for 26-year-old Jared Ravizza had been pushed back after he was sent for a mental health evaluation.

Ravizza was arraigned on May 28 and then held at Bridgewater State Hospital to be evaluated for competency and criminal responsibility.

Authorities said Ravizza stabbed four girls at a movie theatre in Braintree on May 25 before stabbing two employees at a McDonald’s in Plymouth.

All six victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to officials.

Connecticut State Police announced May 28 that Ravizza was also identified as a suspect in a homicide in Deep River on the same day as the stabbings.

Massachusetts State Police advised Connecticut police that Ravizza was taken into custody in Sandwich in connection with crimes alleged in Braintree and Plymouth.

Plymouth’s district attorney said Ravizza faces one count of armed assault to murder and two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, along with one count of indecent exposure.
