Man charged with DUI after hitting police cruiser

A 20 year old is facing DUI charges after he hit a police cruiser head on in Pawtucket Early Tuesday morning.
Police say Darvin Benitez was the driver when he crashed into a police SUV at around 12:30 a.m.
The officer and two passengers in Benitez’s car were treated for minor injuries.
Benitez is charged with DUI and reckless driving.
