Man indicted for New Bedford murder and arson

A Providence man has been indicted for murder and arson charges in New Bedford.
The New Bedford Fire Department responded to 911 calls on April 15 2014, about a fire in a dwelling.
Fire Officials extinguished the fire in the house on Round Streets and found a dead body.
After investigating, Detectives sought an arrest warrant for Sayyid Coggins, 37, of
The warrant was granted and the
Coggins was previously charged as an accessory to murder and is being detained at the Bristol County House of Corrections and will be arraigned in Fall River Superior Court on a later time.
On Friday, Coggins was indicted on charges of murder and arson.
