Man critically injured after crash in Attleboro

ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — The Attleboro Fire Department said a man was critically injured after a crash on Interstate 95 early Sunday morning.

Firefighters responded to the area around 1:15 a.m. to find two vehicles that had been involved in the crash.

A man was trapped inside one of the vehicle and had to be removed and transported to the hospital win “critical condition.”

Firefighters said the other car was engulfed in flames, but the driver was able to get out herself and only suffered minor injuries.

The crash was under investigation by Massachusetts State Police.
