Man facing OUI charges after fatal crash in Wareham
WAREHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — A man has been charged with operating under the influence after a fatal crash in Wareham on July 25, according to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office.
67-year-old Raymond Cardoza, of West Wareham, was charged with operating under the influence-manslaughter, operating under the influence-fourth offense, leaving the scene of a crash resulting in personal injury or death, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
According to WCVB, the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office said officers responded to a crash involving a motorcycle and a car on Cranberry Highway just after 5 p.m.
At the scene, police discovered the motorcycle operator, 25-year-old Jordan Hansen, was injured.
Hansen was taken to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Cardoza is being held on $100,000 bail.
