Man gets 3 life sentences for role in 2012 slayings

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) _ A 21-year-old Providence man has been sentenced to three concurrent life sentences for his role in the shooting deaths of three people in 2012.
Attorney General Peter Kilmartin says Donovann Hall was sentenced Friday in Superior Court.
Hall and three other men were charged in the killings of Shemeeka Barros, Michael Martin and Damien Colon at an apartment. Police say robbery was the motive.
Hall pleaded guilty March 1, 2013. He was the last of the defendants to be sentenced.
Quandell Husband was convicted by a jury in July and sentenced to consecutive life sentences. Russell Burrell pleaded guilty in 2013, and also received consecutive life sentences.
Timothy DeBritto pleaded guilty last March and was sentenced to at least 40 years.
Kilmartin says Hall’s sentencing closes a painful chapter for the family and friends the victims.
