Man hospitalized after being stabbed in Kennedy Plaza

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- A man is in critical condition at Rhode Island Hospital after being stabbed in Providence on Friday evening.

Providence police say that at 6:30 p.m. a 41-year-old man was stabbed at Kennedy Plaza.

Officers were able to arrest 65-year-old Scott Kettle within minutes of the stabbing.

He was charged with felony assault and will be arraigned on Saturday.
