Man in critical condition after being hit by car in Cumberland

CUMBERLAND, R.I. (WLNE) — A 25-year-old man is in critical condition after he was hit by a car in Cumberland yesterday.

Police said it happened on Highland Corporate Drive around 2 p.m. when the man was crossing the street.

The driver was traveling on Route 99 when it happened.

The crash is currently under investigation.
