Police are investigating a shooting in Providence Thursday night.
Residents who live above the Boost Mobile store at 570 Douglas Avenue say they heard an argument during what appeared to be a robbery of the store.
The witnesses tell ABC6 they heard the owner yell, "get out of my shop" followed by two gunshots. They say that when they ran downstairs the owner was bleeding, and told them call people because he was shot twice.
Police responded to the scene around 7:45 p.m. and have since closed off part of the street.
Multiple shell casings can be seen outside the shop and a bullet hole is visible in the window.
