Man killed after vehicle crashes into used car dealer in Seekonk

SEEKONK, Mass. (WLNE) — A man died after his vehicle crashed into a used car dealership, Seekonk police said Monday.

According to Seekonk Police Captain Matthew Jardine, the vehicle drove into First Stop Auto Sales on the corner of Mink Street and Fall River Avenue.

The driver, who has only been identified as a man, was taken to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, police said.

An employee of the dealership was also injured in the crash when police say she was pinned between the vehicle and the building. She was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Police say there was another man inside the vehicle at the time of the crash. That man has only been identified as a possible relative of the victim.

No further information was released.
