Victim in New Bedford shooting identified

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE)- A man was shot and killed in New Bedford on Friday night, police say.

The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office identified the victim as 32-year-old Joseph Pauline.

Officers responded to Richdale Foods on Brock Ave. around 6:45 p.m. after reports of a shooting.

Police say that Pauline was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital where he later died.
