Man pleads not guilty in Woonsocket murder case

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – A man accused of murdering an 81-year-old Woonsocket woman in 2016 has pleaded not guilty.
Matthew Dusseault, 20, pleaded not guilty Wednesday morning in Providence Superior Court to the murder of Constance Gauthier in March of 2016.
Dusseault was ordered held without bail.
He is scheduled to appear next in Providence Superior Court on April 24th.
Rhode Island Judiciary officials told ABC6 that if convicted, Dusseault could face life in prison without the possibility of parole.
