The Pawtucket man convicted of raping and selling a 16-year-old girl for sex was sentenced to 100 years in prison.
60-year-old Curtis Maxie was sentenced Wednesday to 85 years for trafficking and sexual assault plus 15 for being a habitual offender.
He was found guilty in April of three counts of first degree sexual assault, one count of sex trafficking of a minor, and one count of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of a minor.
Prosecutors say in April of 2014 he held the girl in his basement apartment against her will, raped her, and then sold her for sex repeatedly.
