26-year-old man shot and killed in New Bedford early Saturday morning

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III announced that a homicide is being investigated in New Bedford.

Around 12:47 a.m. on Saturday, New Bedford Police responded to reports of men fighting and a gunshot in the area of Acushnet Avenue.

Upon arrival, Police said they found 26-year-old Nicholas Miller of Bridgewater suffering from a gunshot wound.

Miller was taken to Saint Luke’s Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 2:42 a.m.
