Man shot while walking in Billy Taylor Park in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – Providence police say a 33-year-old man was shot in the leg Thursday morning while walking in Billy Taylor Park on Camp St.

The man was shot in his right leg by someone in a silver car. Police do not know at this time if there was more than one person in the vehicle.

The man is in stable condition at Miriam Hospital.

So far, no arrests have been made. The incident is under investigation.
