Man stabbed outside Fall River convenience store

FALL RIVER, MASS (WLNE) – Fall River police say a suspect has been detained for a possible involvement in a Monday morning stabbing. 

Police say they received a call from a clerk from the Bedford street Xtra mart around 8:30 a.m , after a man walked into the store bleeding. 

According to Fall River Police, a man was seen running from the area. He has been detained for questioning. 

The victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, and is in stable condition. 

The identities of the suspect and victim have not been released as of now.
