Man stabbed, woman hit after disturbance at Fall River home

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — A disturbance that led to house guests being asked to leave ended with a man being stabbed and a woman being hit, Fall River police said Monday.

Police responded to an incident on Hall Street just after 6:30 a.m. for a reported incident.

After guests were asked to leave the residence, a man was stabbed and a woman was struck. They were both sent to nearby hospitals.

Police said the man’s stab wound was non-life-threatening.

The suspects, whose identities are known to investigators, were not immediately in custody.

No further information was immediately released.
