Man stabbed, woman shot in head in Fall River

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The Fall River Police Department released the injuries that sent two people to the hospital early Wednesday morning.

Police responded to Dickinson Street around 4:30 a.m. to find a a 55-year-old male who had sustained multiple stab wounds to the head and neck area while a 42-year-old woman sustained a single gunshot wound to the head.

The male is listed as being stable while the woman is in critical condition.
