Man struck by vehicle in Lakeville

LAKEVILLE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Lakeville Fire Department said that a man was struck by a vehicle on County Street on May 3.

The department responded to the area near Captain Bub’s Marine around 8:30 p.m. to find a male on the side of the road with “significant injuries.”

The man was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital, and the department said the injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
