New Bedford man arrested on drug distribution charges

A New Bedford man has been arrested on drug distribution charges in his home at approximately 6:30pm on Tuesday.

New Bedford Police issued a search warrant at the home of 23-year-old Reginald Sadam, of 7 Hazard Court..

During the search, Police found a half pound of Marijuana, almost $9,000 in cash and 2 handguns.

Sadam was taken without incident as he drove away from his home.

Sadam is scheduled to be arraigned today in New Bedford district court on several firearm and drug charges.
