Man to be charged in New Bedford homicide

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office said a man from Dartmouth will be charged in connection with a stabbing homicide that occurred on Sept. 20.

31-year-old Tyler Dow Baglini was charged with murder.

He was taken into custody after police responded to Atlantic Street around 5 p.m. for reports of a stabbing.

Baglini was held overnight at Saint Luke’s Hospital for psychiatric evaluation after being taken into custody.

The victim of the stabbing was identified as 31-year-old Kerri Fidalgo.

Baglini is set to be arraigned on Sept. 23.
