Mansfield police search for multiple people after smoke shop break-in

MANSFIELD, Mass. (WLNE) — Mansfield police are searching for multiple people in connection to a break-in at a smoke shop early Monday.

The department posted photos on social media of three people in casual clothing. One was wearing a red coat and two were wearing black hoodies.

Police said they’re searching for as many as nine people after reviewing video surveillance footage from inside Brothers Smoke Shop.

Police responded to the business on Pratt Street at about 1 a.m. Monday for a reported break-in.

Officers said the glass front door of the smoke shop was shattered.

They also found store merchandise like cigarette packs across the street.

 

Video surveillance footage shows a group of people forcing their way in and stealing various items. Police said the store owners reported more than $20,000 in losses.
