There are still many lingering questions about a terror probe that saw FBI agents and State Police search a house in Warwick.

ABC6 News has learned that a man who lives in that house was questioned over his apparent connection to a terror suspect, Usaama Rahim, who was shot and killed in Boston on Tuesday.

The FBI and State Police Joint Terrorism Task Force were investigating at the Aspinet Drive home since Tuesday, blocking off the street for over 24 hours as they searched the property. The police presence remained heavy throughout the day Wednesday.

“It’s been crazy. There’s been police up and down the street,” said Kathy Garvey, a neighbor. “When I left for work this morning, there were trucks at the end of the driveway and they were bringing stuff out of the house,” she continued.

Residents say that the man questioned by police that lives in the home at the center of the investigation is named Nick. A neighbor showed us an area in the woods that Nick frequently visits. He tells us he showed police to this area during their investigation.

“They just basically asked if he comes in here and I answered those questions,” said Brandon Waterman.

Neighbors also say Nick converted to Islam fairly recently, drastically changing his appearance.

“He has grown his beard out long. I think it was around last summer we began to start noticing him wearing turbans and robes,” said neighbor Brandon Ferrara.

A court affidavit released Wednesday reveals that suspect Usaama Rahim met with two others on a Rhode Island beach to discuss their plans to behead officers. One of those men, David Wright, was arrested at his home in Everett, MA, on Tuesday.

Police have not said if the third man is the one they’re investigating in Warwick.

Several people were seen coming and going at the home, though no one would comment on the situation.

As of Wednesday night, the FBI says there are no suspects in custody and no one has been arrested in relation to the investigation.
