Marine Warning for Narragansett Bay

The National Weather Service in Boston/Norton has issued a * Special Marine Warning for Narragansett Bay.

* Until 230 PM EDT.

* At 128 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Conimicut
  Light, moving northeast at 20 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and lightning.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include:
  Mount Hope Bay, Conimicut Light, Greenwich Bay, Popasquash Point,
  Warwick Light, and Bristol Harbor.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS:

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
