Mass. AG joins 12 counterparts in suing Trump administration and DOGE head Musk

BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Campbell has joined Rhode Island and 11 other state attorneys general filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration and Elon Musk.

The lawsuit says the administration has violated the constitution by creating a new federal department without proper approval.

AG Campbell said the lawsuit looks to put an end to the “ongoing corruption and abuse of power” from the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
