BOSTON (WLNE) — Gov. Charlie Baker announced a second round of stimulus payments for low-income workers in the Bay State.

The administration said the second $500 payments went out to 330,000 workers across the state.

The program was passed and signed in December of 2021 and provided direct payments to the state’s low income workers.

The first round of payments went out in March to roughly 480,000 people.

The program is being funded from part of Massachusetts $4 billion in the American Rescue Plan Act, or ARPA, funds.

Individuals will be eligible for payments if their 2021 income from employment was at least $13,500 and their total income put them at or below 300% of the federal poverty level.
