Mass. State Police announce sobriety checkpoints throughout Bristol County

MASSACHUSETTS (WLNE)- The Massachusetts State Police will be conducting sobriety checks on Saturday, March 26 into Sunday, March 27.

The purpose of these checkpoints is to monitor the public and spread awareness to the need of detecting and removing drivers under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

The hours the checkpoints will occur are varied, any inconvenience to motorists is expected to be minimized with advance notice to operators.
