Mass. State Police investigate fatal Seekonk crash

PROVIDENCE (WLNE)- Massachusetts State Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred near mile marker 2.2 on the westbound lane of Interstate 195 in Seekonk Wednesday afternoon.

Police identified the driver as Matthew Beaudoin, 38, of New Bedford. He was the sole occupant of the automobile.

Police said just before 3 p.m., Beaudoin’s car left the roadway and rolled over, but the reasons for the accident remain under investigation.

Beaudoin was transported to Rhode Island Hospital where he later succumbed to injuries.
