Mass. State Police: Woonsocket man seriously injured in Foxborough crash

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WLNE) — State Police in Massachusetts have released new information about a Thursday night crash in Foxborough that left a Rhode Island man seriously injured.

Troopers said they responded to a single-car crash on Route 95 South near the Route 495 interchange.

According to officials, the 22-year-old driver from Woonsocket lost control of his vehicle and hit a guardrail.

He was transported to Rhode Island Hospital with serious injuries.

Though it is unclear what caused him to lose control of his vehicle, an investigation is currently underway.
