Mass. Trooper accidentally shoots himself during training

A Massachusetts State Police trooper has been hospitalized after apparently accidentally shooting himself Tuesday.
The incident happened during a training exercise at the department’s Emergency Vehicle Operations Center in Devens.
The trooper was medflighted to UMass Medical Center in Worcester.
The shooting is under investigation by police.
