Massachusetts EBT, SNAP system to be down for weekend maintenance

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance is warning residents who receive SNAP benefits that a planned outage is on the way this weekend.

The DTA said between 11 p.m. Saturday and midday Sunday, residents will not be able to access SNAP benefits or use their EBT cards.

System maintenance will be underway during those times, and the DTA said they’ve already alerted affected residents with emails, mailers and texts.
