Massachusetts firefighters return home after helping fight Western wildfires

A group of firefighters from Massachusetts is back home this morning after helping fight wildfires out west.

The crew of 20 were station in Western Montana and Northern Iowa to help battle wildfires affecting the region.

U.S. wildfires have scorched nearly 7,900 square miles this year in forests.

The vast majority of the fires are on public lands in the West.
