Massachusetts police investigating body found in Quincy

QUINCY, Mass. (WLNE) – State police are investigating after a body was found at Squantum Point Park in Quincy Monday morning.

Massachusetts police say the dead man was reported by a passerby who spotted the body in shallow water.

The man has been identified, but no information has been released. Police are still contacting the man’s family.

Police say there is no threat to public safety.
