Massachusetts responders rescue drowning dog from cranberry bog
CARLISLE, Mass. (WLNE) — First responders in Massachusetts rescued a dog who was stuck in a cranberry bog on Saturday.
According to the Carlisle Police Department, at 5:15 p.m., they received a call reporting that a dog was trapped in a culvert and drowning.
When responders arrived to the bogs at Great Brook Farm, they said farm employees helped them rescue Zena the black lab.
Officials say she was trapped for about an hour but was later reunited with her owner.
