Massachusetts State Police arrest two 15-year-olds for alleged BMW theft
MILTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Two juveniles were taken into custody by Massachusetts State Police after the teens allegedly stole a BMW, fled pursuit and crashed into a pickup truck on I-93 North Thursday.
The incident occurred at approximately 9 a.m. when a trooper driving on Granite Avenue in Milton spotted the stolen vehicle and initiated a traffic stop.
The driver fled and took a ramp onto I-93 north and crashed into a pickup truck a short time later.
The pickup truck was propelled into the trooper’s cruiser.
The BMW then struck a righthand guardrail and came to a stop.
The driver of the pickup truck was transported to a local hospital for evaluation and there were no other injuries reported.
Two 15-year-old males were arrested at the scene and were charged at the South Boston Barracks with delinquent by reason of receipt of stolen motor vehicle, delinquent by reason of unlicensed operation and delinquent by reason of negligent operation.
