Massachusetts State Police respond to explosion at home

WAREHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — Massachusetts State Police and Bomb Squad responded to an explosion at a home in Wareham on Oct. 3.

Police said the individual “believed to be responsible for the explosion” attempted to flee the scene and was taken into custody.

The suspect suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital.

Police said the scene was secure and there was no threat to the public.
