Massachusetts State Police searching for missing 71-year-old man

STURBRIDGE, Mass. (WLNE)- Massachusetts State Police are searching for a 71-year-old man from Sturbridge, who went missing on Friday afternoon.

State Police said that George Guttler was last seen near the Quabbin Reservoir in Ware and Belchertown.

Guttler is a six-foot tall white man with gray hair. He was last seen wearing a flannel shirt, black jeans, and black sneakers.

Troopers found Guttler’s red Honda Civic parked in a lot near the Windsor Dam at around 11 p.m.

State Police said that the gate to the lot where he was parked closes at 6 p.m., meaning that he parked there before then.

Anyone who has information regarding Guttler’s whereabouts should call 911.
