MassDOT announces lane closures starting Sunday night on I-495 north and Route 24 south

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation announced it will be performing work on the bridge on I-495 north that goes over Route 24 south in Bridgewater.

The work will begin on Sunday, Aug. 18 at 9 p.m. and go until Monday, Aug. 26 at 5 a.m.

Lane closures are expected on both I-495 and Route 24 south.
