MassDOT announces Route 195 detours for bridge inspections

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation has announced that that they will be inspecting highway structures on 195 West at Exit 26 to Route 18 in New Bedford tomorrow.

According to MassDOT, inspections will be completed from Thursday 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.

On Wednesday, Exit 26 to Route 18 Southbound will be closed. On Thursday, the Route 18 North Exit to 195 West will be closed.

Detours will be in place, and police will be in the area.

Drivers are being asked to use caution during these times.
