MassDOT says overnight snowfall may impact roads

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said that overnight snowfall and rain is expected to impact travel in many regions of the state into the morning.

The National Weather Service forecast shows snowfall amounts of one to two inches in eastern Massachusetts and two to six inches in western Massachusetts.

MassDOT said that crews will treat and plow roads but commuters should schedule extra time for travel.
